How it works
- You choose OpenAI or Anthropic and use your own account with your own API key. The provider bills you directly.
- The AI features are off until you save your key. Before that, the app shows what will be sent; saving the key is your consent, removing it withdraws it.
- AI coaching is part of the paid plans.
What is sent — and what is not
Text and numbers are sent: your questions and notes, selected details from your training profile and measurements from your on-device analysis. Your videos and analysis images are never sent to the AI provider. Instead of an opponent’s name, only an anonymised description goes out.
Your API key stays encrypted on your device and is never sent to Trainoro. The details are in section 6 of the Privacy Policy.
Limits
An AI can be wrong and does not replace a coach at the table. It only knows what your analysis really measured. Every AI reply has a report button for when something is off.
