This information is provided pursuant to the applicable German provider-identification requirements, including § 5 Digitale-Dienste-Gesetz (DDG).

Trainoro is operated by the above individual. There is no GmbH, association or other separate legal entity behind the app.

The e-mail address above is also the electronic point of contact for the purposes of Articles 11 and 12 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (Digital Services Act, “DSA”). Communication is possible in German and English.

Scope of the service

Trainoro is a sports-training application for table tennis.

The basic version of the app is available free of charge. It contains recording, trimming, your video library, hiding areas of a video, scoring a match with the scorecard and its timeout timer, the rating calculator and the rubber log for your saved racket, and a free sample of every other feature: video analysis as a preview that covers the first 3 seconds of a video and shows only the headline of a Stroke Analysis, as often as you like; a small selection of the table drills, fitness exercises, serves, receives and training sessions; in the Game Zone the easiest level, the first chapter and a short version of the quiz; the result of the racket quiz without its details and one saved racket; the headline figures in My Progress; a limited number of entries in the match log; the most recent matches in the scorecard history; the current week of the training diary; and a few delayed replays each time you open the delayed replay.

Everything beyond that is available through an optional paid plan — a monthly or yearly subscription, or a one-time purchase (the lifetime unlock), each described under “Paid plans” below: analysing whole videos and the detailed results; the complete libraries of drills, exercises, serves and receives; all training sessions and weeks and a plan of your own; the whole Game Zone; the full racket advisor; the charts and recommendations in My Progress; an unlimited match log with opponent profiles and game plans; the full scorecard history; earlier weeks of the training diary; unlimited delayed replay; cropping videos; and the AI coaching features (AI Coach, AI Fitness Coach, and the Stroke Analysis and My Matches coaches).

Match-log entries you have made stay readable without a paid plan. Scorecard matches older than the most recent ones are kept on your device and shown again once a paid plan is active. The same applies to diary entries from earlier weeks.

The app is provided by the individual named above. The fact that the app is operated privately does not limit any mandatory consumer, data-protection, copyright or other statutory rights.

Paid plans

Trainoro offers three optional paid plans through Google Play. All three unlock the same paid features:

Monthly subscription: paid in advance for one month at a time.
Yearly subscription: paid in advance for one year at a time.
Lifetime unlock: a one-time purchase. It is paid for once, is not a subscription and does not renew. It unlocks the paid features without a time limit, for as long as Trainoro offers them.

A subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period for another period of the same length, unless you cancel it before the period ends. You can cancel at any time in Google Play (Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions), which the app also opens under “Manage subscription”. A cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; access continues until then. Switching between the monthly and the yearly subscription replaces the current subscription, and Google Play credits the time that is left. A change to the price of an existing subscription takes effect only after advance notice through Google Play and, where the law or Google Play requires it, with your consent.

If you delete your app account, the automatic renewal of a running subscription is cancelled; access ends with the period already paid for.

After a reinstall or on a new device, the lifetime unlock and a running subscription can be restored with the same Google account.

Prices include VAT. They are shown in the app before you buy and in the Google Play purchase flow, in the currency of your Google Play country. Google Play calculates, collects and pays the VAT. During a launch offer, the regular price is shown crossed out next to the launch price, together with the last day of the offer; from the following day, the regular price applies to new purchases.

Payment and billing are handled through Google Play according to the applicable Google Play terms and purchase flow. Trainoro does not receive your payment-card or bank-account details.

If the Google Play purchase flow identifies Google as the contracting seller for the relevant purchase, contractual payment, refund and billing matters are handled by Google in accordance with the terms applicable to that purchase.

Your right of withdrawal as a consumer, how to use it and how refunds work are described in the section “Withdrawal and refunds” below.

Withdrawal and refunds

Trainoro's paid plans — the monthly and yearly subscriptions and the lifetime unlock — are bought and paid for through Google Play. If you buy one as a consumer, you have a statutory right of withdrawal, described below.

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day of the conclusion of the contract.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Hassan Haroon, Ossweiler Weg 36, 71334 Waiblingen, Germany, e-mail: info@trainoro.com) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or e-mail). You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

You may also use the refund and withdrawal process that Google Play provides for the purchase. Please state the Google Play order number from your receipt, so that the purchase can be identified.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

Because payment is taken by Google Play, the refund is made through Google Play.

Other refunds

A subscription can be cancelled at any time in Google Play with effect from the end of the current billing period, as described under “Paid plans”. Cancelling ends the renewal; it does not refund the period already paid for. The lifetime unlock is paid for once and does not renew, so there is nothing to cancel.

Requests for a refund outside the withdrawal period are handled under Google Play's refund policy.

AI features

Certain optional AI features can be used with the user's own account and API key with an AI provider selected by the user, currently OpenAI or Anthropic.

Any charges imposed by the selected AI provider are charged by that provider under the user's agreement with that provider. They are separate from the Trainoro lifetime unlock and are not covered by it — also where an AI coaching feature itself requires the lifetime unlock (see “Scope of the service”).

On the architecture used by Trainoro, AI requests are sent directly from the user's device to the selected AI provider using the user's own API key. Trainoro does not receive the API key and does not receive the AI request content.

The information sent and the applicable processing are described in the Privacy Policy.

AI replies are generated automatically by the selected provider. They can be inaccurate or unsuitable and are not a substitute for advice from a qualified coach, doctor or physiotherapist. Every AI reply can be reported with the flag next to it; the report reaches the provider of Trainoro.

Availability and liability

Trainoro is provided on an “as available” basis. The provider does not guarantee permanent availability, uninterrupted operation or freedom from errors.

The provider may modify, suspend or discontinue individual features or the app as a whole. Where the lifetime unlock has already been paid for, applicable statutory rights remain unaffected; where the provider is responsible for a paid service and cannot continue providing the service, the provider will honour the applicable statutory obligations.

Nothing in this Legal Notice excludes or limits liability to the extent that such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by mandatory law.

In particular, liability for intent and gross negligence, liability for injury to life, body or health, and liability under the German Product Liability Act remain unaffected.

Third-party content and links

The provider is responsible for the provider's own content in accordance with applicable law.

Trainoro has no area in which users publish content to other users. A profile picture you add stays on your device.

If the provider obtains sufficiently substantiated knowledge of illegal content, the provider will assess the notice and take the legally required action without undue delay.

Trainoro contains links to external websites and services operated by third parties. The provider has no control over those external services and is not responsible for their content, except where mandatory law provides otherwise.

Reporting illegal content

Anyone may report content in Trainoro that they consider to be illegal.

Reports may be sent electronically to info@trainoro.com.

Please provide, where possible:

a sufficiently precise description of the content;
the location within the app where it can be found;
the reasons why you believe it is illegal; and
your name and e-mail address, unless an exception applies.

Reports are reviewed in a timely, diligent, objective and non-arbitrary manner. Where appropriate, content may be removed or access to it restricted in accordance with applicable law.

AI replies can also be reported directly in the app, with the flag next to each reply.

Where the law requires it, the person who submitted a report will receive confirmation of receipt and information about the decision and applicable redress options.

Copyright

Content and works created by the provider are protected by German copyright law. This includes in particular the app software and its source code, the user interface and design, the Trainoro name and logo, texts, drill and exercise content, 3D animations and characters, graphics, images, videos and this website.

Reproduction, adaptation, distribution or other exploitation of provider-created content beyond the limits permitted by law requires the prior permission of the relevant rights holder.

Content created and uploaded by users remains the user's content. To operate the service, users grant Trainoro the limited rights necessary to store, reproduce, display and technically process that content for the functions requested by the user, including showing it to the user who added it.

Nothing in this section transfers ownership of user content to Trainoro.

Third-party open-source components contained in the app remain subject to their own licences, which are listed under "Licences and credits".

Health and training information

Trainoro provides sports and training information.

Trainoro is not intended to be a medical device and is not offered as a substitute for medical diagnosis, treatment or professional medical advice. Training metrics, video analysis and AI-generated suggestions are informational and training-oriented.

Do not use Trainoro to diagnose or treat an injury or medical condition. If you have pain, an injury, a medical condition or uncertainty about whether an exercise is appropriate for you, consult a physician or qualified physiotherapist before training.
